About Me:
I have just completed my 41st year of this life, am mother to three earth girls and a fire boy, and loving every minute. This past year has been thick with change and choices. I am continually unlearning and knowing less. The qualities of being that I aspire to most are Compassion and Fearlessness. As a Registered Nurse, I get paid to help people in their healing processes–what a privilege. I gained a wanderlust for adventure and volunteer nursing during Red Cross service during Katrina in 2005. I had planned to stay in the US until age 50, and then join Doctors Without Borders for the rest of my days….. now I'm a new mom again and will be nurturing a new member of our family and loving my partner instead (we met on Gaia when it was Zaadz!). I wake up each day on purpose. I can feel again. I'm learning the wisdom of staying present with the awareness of whatever I feel without getting stuck in it. I cry sometimes. I'm rarely afraid anymore. I am choosing my battles more wisely and surrendering my love with wild abandon. I need sleep and backrubs.

“Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.” -Buddha
“A hero is someone who has goals and dreams, who wants to make a difference and leave the world a better place. A hero is someone who loves and is loved—and each one of us is a hero.”—Maria Nemeth
There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
